Some rooms are facing south on the Alpilles moutains and Avignon Palais des papes, others, on the swimming pool, the Lubéron and some others on the Mont Ventoux. Sebastien Gutierrez
Originally from Savoie but settled in the region since 15 years, Sébastien discovered the castle from the inside in 2018 by becoming the assistant of the previous management team.
After studying business, he arrived a little bit by chance in the hotel industry, a universe where he immediately felt closer from his hospitality ideals and where he could express his sense of welcome.
Arrived at the castle after following an autodidact path in the luxury and leisure hotel industry that allowed him to climb up the ladder and who led him from the Alps to the Mediterranean, passing through Ardèche to reach Avignon in 2005. After falling in love with the region and its « art de vivre », he literally fell under the castle's spell.
Keen to welcome you and share his love for the place, the terroir and the area, he will provide you with numerous advices and information for a succesful experience at the hotel and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
