The castle

A charming hotel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape

In addition to the wonderful vineyards which makes this village a unique place, it presents numerous vestiges like the castle in ruins, Popes previous summer residence and of course, later on, the Fines roches.

The president's message

Despite the difficult health context, I decided to purchase the « Hostellerie du Château des Fines Roches »to give it a new momentum.
I immediately undertook major works to transform, design and revitalize this prestigious and historic place of the Vauclusian heritage.
Native of Sorgues and a resident of Entraigues sur la Sorgues, I am passionated about our territory and all his treasures, I want to play a role in its enhancement.

Denis Duchêne

We went up to the poet Anselm Mathieu’s at Châteauneuf-du- Pape, famous for its vineyards , which were for a long time the most renowned in Provence . Oh ! the wine Of the popes, the golden, royal, imperial, pontifical wine ! we drank it there on the shore, singing Mistral’s verses the while, new fragments Of the Iles d’Or.

Alphonse Daudet

In the heart
of Provence

A medieval building steeped in history

Between the Avignon bridge and Orange's roman theatre, the walks in Camargue and the sweetness of a provençal night, the region is rich in discoveries, unprecedented experiences, strolls and all sorts of leisures.

I envision a lively, enchanting and refined place where the time stands still by the simple and magical moments that it brings.

A romantic hotel in Vaucluse

This unconventional establishment was installed in a medieval style castle built in the XIXth century. A history-filled place, the Fines Roches castle was inhabited by the Marquis de Baroncelli and hosted a lot of provençal poets.
